Arsenal fans were once again not happy at a referee decision going against them, as Ezri Konsa was booked for a foul they believe was worse than David Luiz's sending off.
The Gunners lost in midweek against Wolverhampton Wanderers as they finished the game with nine men. The first sending off was the turning point of the game, which saw Luiz take an early bath.
The Brazilian's non attempt at a tackle in the box led to his red card with Wolves then equalising from the spot and shifting the momentum of the game.
Luiz's red card wasn't overturned, unlike Jan Bednarek's, who picked up a similar red against Manchester United, and that left fans of Mikel Arteta's team even more annoyed.
On Saturday afternoon their annoyance levels were bumped up again as they felt Konsa's foul on Bukayo Saka during the second half of their game with Aston Villa was more deserving of a red.
For all the red card debate last week, this decision is so bad it’s mental. How can this be more of a goalscoring opportunity? Maybe if Villa were playing with no keeper? pic.twitter.com/lIX52ajrxp

Mikel Arteta getting sent off for an almost identical tackle in the same area of the pitch. Never for us though, only against. pic.twitter.com/VXvRVh1IEm

The Konsa challenge: we all know an Arsenal player is getting shown a red for that

That Konsa challenge is the EXACT same as the one Gabriel was sent off for vs Southampton

Guarantee if that was Grealish instead of Saka and Holding or Gabriel instead of Konsa it’s a red card.

We’ve been poor.

Also if David Luiz makes that Konsa foul on Lacazette while on a yellow he’d have been sent off in about 2 seconds.
Konsa should’ve had a second yellow too, did exactly what Gabriel did vs Southampton for his red

After the Wolves game Arteta called on the Luiz decision to be overturned and called it a "big moment in the game."
After equalising from the spot, Wolves took an early lead in the second half when Joao Moutinho scored an absolutely brilliant long range strike.
Bernd Leno was soon sent off for the visitors for handling the ball outside of his area after running out of the box to try and intercept a loose ball.
The Gunners' boss could hardly blame anyone else but his defence on Saturday, as Villa took the lead just 90 seconds into the game.
Cedric didn't deal with a direct ball and Armand Traore ran onto it before finding Ollie Watkins who scuffed the ball past a diving Mat Ryan, making his first appearance for the north London club.
Konsa's foul on Saka could be seen as a big moment for the Gunners but they still had plenty of time to get back in the game.
