Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed he substituted Callum Hudson-Odoi after 31 minutes vs Southampton because he "wasn't happy with the energy or attitude."
Chelsea would draw the game 1-1 but much of the chatter was about Hudson-Odoi's early departure.
Post-match, Tuchel explained to media: "With Hudson-Odoi, I was not happy with the energy and with the attitude and counter-pressing so we decided to take him off."

The 20-year-old looked shocked at seeing his number flash up and he left the pitch frustrated.
Fans have reacted to Tuchel's comments and they think it's the kind of ruthlessness Chelsea players haven't seen for a long time.
Tammy Abraham was not injured and was taken off because he did not put his stamp on the game, says Tuchel.

Like a man not afraid to make big calls.
At least he is honest and did something about it, but the energy from several players was off. Maybe he has a higher standard for certain individuals. https://t.co/hFLDilUrDY

Subbing Hudson-Odoi after bringing him on at half time was ruthless, calling out his attitude after the game as the reason was a shocker 😳😳
Southampton took the lead in the first half thanks to Takumi Minamino.
Nathan Redmond played the on-loan Liverpool man through and he took it under control perfectly.
Minamino then shimmied his body to the right, ensuring Cesar Azpilicueta committed himself to a challenge.
The 26-year-old slotted past Edouard Mendy as cool as you like to give the home side a shock lead.
