'Kevin De Bruyne Pulls Off The Most Ridiculous 'Bicycle Kick' Pass Of The Season Against Wolves

To put his brilliance into context, Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne needs just 15 assists in 334 games to match Steven Gerrard's record in the Premier League.

In fact, the talented Belgian is just three assists away from matching David Beckham's all-time assist record in England's top flight; a quite remarkable stat considering he has made just 176 appearances in the league.

He also leads the way for assists-per-game following his assist for Ruben Dias' goal against West Ham.

De Bruyne's eye for a pass and creativity in the middle of the park has been crucial for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City this season and once again, he played an important role in Tuesday night's clash against Wolves.

Although he didn't assist any of the goalscorers in their 4-1 win, the midfielder pulled off the pass of the game - if not the season - in the 88th minute against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

City extended their winning run to 21 games in all competitions and this wonderful pass put the cherry on top of the cake. Blimey.

It's been a campaign full of marvellous assists from De Bruyne. Back in January, the Belgian produced a sensational cross with the outside of his foot to record his 100th assist for Manchester City.

The 29-year-old set up John Stones who headed home in the 35th minute thanks to a glorious pass.

After his corner was cleared, Raheem Sterling pinged the ball back to the midfielder who killed the ball dead before sending a delicious ball into the box.

With the outside of his right foot, De Bruyne picked out Stones in a sublime moment to bring up his century of assists for City.
