Liverpool are on course for a worst title defence than David Moyes' Manchester United side.
Defeat to Chelsea at Anfield last night means that, for the first time in their history, the Reds have lost five consecutive home games at a place they called a fortress and put together a remarkable unbeaten run that stretched back to April 2017.
In a woeful run of form, Liverpool have slipped to seventh in the league and the teams behind them, Spurs and Aston Villa, have games in hand.
And in an incredibly worrying statistic for the champions, they have less points at this stage than Moyes managed in his solitary season at Old Trafford.
After 27 games, Moyes, who had taken the reins from Sir Alex Ferguson following his retirement, had seen his team win 45 points.

This term, Liverpool's title winners have accrued 43 points and have an identical +12 goal difference.
In a poor 2013/14 campaign, United finished in seventh on 64 points and ripped up Moyes' six-year contract prior to the season ending.
Taking their current points-per-game average, Liverpool are on course to wind up on 63 points - a monumental drop from the incredible 99 points tally they managed en route to winning a first league title for 30 years last term.
Klopp's side are in danger of not playing Champions League football next term and he described the latest loss as "a massive blow".
He told Sky Sports: "It is not done yet, but we don't have to talk about if you lose that many games, you don't have the right to go to the Champions League. We have to win football games and we know that and we will work on it, but for tonight, it was not enough."
