Jose Mourinho wouldn't have been the only one to be pleased with Gareth Bale's performance against Burnley on Sunday, with Real Madrid reportedly 'celebrating' too.
Bale had impressed in recent weeks as a substitute in the Premier League and starting in the Europa League, so Mourinho started him against Sean Dyche's side.
It didn't take long for him to make an impact, as he scored after just two minutes. The Welshman set up Harry Kane 13 minutes later and grabbed his second goal of the day in the second half.
Spurs will be delighted if the 31-year-old can now keep up his best form in the latter part of the season but they won't be the only ones.
According to AS, Real 'celebrate' every one of Bale's good performances because it makes it more likely that they'll be able to sell him in the summer.
Good day at the office! Let’s build on this and look forward! 👊🏼 #COYS pic.twitter.com/EInihP8TO6

The former Southampton player is only on loan in North London until the end of the season, with Los Blancos paying half of his salary.
That means that Zinedine Zidane's side are paying 15 million euros this year for him to play for someone else, although they were arguably paying 30 million last year for him to sit on their bench.
With Bale's contract not expiring until 2022, the reigning Spanish champions are hoping they don't have to pay any of his wages next year.
An in form Bale is more likely to strike up interest, be it from Spurs or elsewhere, to take him off their hands and help their financial situation.
As well as wanting to keep costs down due to the pandemic and renovating of the Bernabeu, Real also want Bale's wages off their books to help with the potential signing of Kylian Mbappe.
The 22-year-old's £375,000-a-week contract also runs till 2022, when he'll be available for nothing, but should he not sign a new deal with PSG before this summer then Real will move for him sooner.
Mbappe could cost around £174 million in transfer fees and then his wages, which would exceed those of Bale.
It will certainly be difficult for the 13 times European champions but selling Bale would certainly make things easier in an attempt to sign their latest Galactico.
It's no wonder that Bale's goals at the weekend would have gone down so well in the Spanish capital!
