He only made a 45-minute cameo against Granada on Thursday night but Donny van de Beek's performance in the Europa League quarter-final clash is yet more evidence that the Dutchman deserves more minutes in a Manchester United shirt.
Van de Beek has struggled for first-team starts since his £35 million move from Ajax in the summer, instead being used as an impact substitute throughout the course of the 2020/21 campaign.
In fact, the 23-year-old has made just two Premier League starts out of a possible 31 in that time.
He has, however, impressed on numerous occasions from the bench and last night's performance against La Liga side Granada left plenty to be desired.
Van de Beek looked composed in possession and on numerous occasions, he carried the ball from deep into promising areas.
A two-minute compilation of his outing against Diego Martinez's side has since emerged online, with many calling for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to give him more chances in the coming weeks.
Do you agree? Should the midfielder be given more time to prove himself?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to pick both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes from the start in Thursday's Europa League fixture left plenty of fans confused as to why the Norwegian didn't give Van de Beek a chance with a comfortable aggregate lead.
Plenty also picked up on his impressive performance at Old Trafford on the night.
Van de Beek, #mufc's marquee summer signing, is their sixth-choice midfielder and cannot get a start in the Europa League. This season is a write-off and still think he can come good next season but 20-21 has been a disaster. Telles and Cavani - signed as squad players - start.

Can understand Solskjaer wants to win the game and build momentum but not sure you need Pogba and Fernandes when you're leading 2-0 from the first leg. Van de Beek has started four games this year.
