Liverpool's American Twitter account has been rinsed on social media after bigging up Roberto Firmino's touch against Aston Villa.
In the 2-1 win over Dean Smith's side at the weekend, Firmino touched the ball down after it dropped from the sky.
It was a nice touch that showcased his fine technical ability but the admin running @LFCUSA got a bit too excited with their caption on footage of the piece of skill.
"Our nation's top scientists are working diligently to figure out how a human being is capable of a touch like this," was the wording.

But given the Brazilian didn't exactly stop the ball dead, plenty of folks on social media gave them some stick for what they deemed to be a huge overreaction.
The reaction included clips of other first touches from the likes of Juan Mata and Dimitar Berbatov.
No lie or bias, my lads touch from when he was 10 was better than that🤣 pic.twitter.com/BhBASqNgg2

Berbatov does this but 100x better in his sleep DFKM 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shit touch. This is much better, exponentially more difficult and he's been doing it longer.

I get that in America you might not have the players who can control a ball like this, but over here, there’s Sunday league players who can do this.

Is the ball meant to bounce so far away from him? Someone show Americans Dimitar Berbatov

Was Fimino's touch all that it was cracked up to be?
