'Sheffield United Train On Stanley Park Ahead Of Game Against Liverpool At Anfield

Sheffield United have been training in a local park ahead of their game against Premier League leaders Liverpool tonight.

Chris Wilder wanted to do some extra work on the day of the game given the busy Christmas and New Year fixtures and put his side through their paces on the grass of Stanley Park, which separates both Goodison Park and Anfield.

It's certainly not a space where you would expect a Premier League side to be training but as long as the work is put in, that's all that matters.

But given the location, there was always a chance that there would be a fair few passers by. And one arrived in the form of a furry animal, as a dog interrupted the training and pissed on a cone to complete the absolutely peak Sunday League session.

Sheff United aren't the only team in the league to have picked a really weird place for training though. A few years back, Jose Mourinho had Manchester United's players doing warm ups in hotel car parks before games against Northampton Town and Liverpool.

Premier League clubs are closer to the Dog and Duck pub football team...
