'Coach In Zanzibar Banned For Six Months After Stripping During Celebration

A coach in Zanzibar celebrated wildly after his current team scored against the side that sacked him, so wildly that he's been suspended for six months.

Mani Gamera was managing his current side Miembeni in a game against former side Jang'ombe, who sacked the coach, and oversaw a win against the team he used to manage.

On hearing the final whistle Gamera ran over to the opposition fans and went a bit of the top with his celebration. He made several provocative signals, include crotch chopping, before even stripping off his trousers.

The coach has now been handed a six month ban and given a $100 fine.

After celebrating on his own in front of the opposition fans, the manager was later joined by the players and they also enjoyed some celebration.

The manager and his team did their best Bafetimbi Gomis impressions with a cat like crawl across the ground.

Speaking about his sacking after the match Gamera said, "They rejected me by calling me an ape. Today the ape has taken off their clothes. And there's nothing they can do about it. I'm their husband and I'm their dad."

Gamera certainly had a better result against his former club than Jose Mourinho managed when he came up against Chelsea, as Spurs boss, on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues won 2-1 as they beat their rivals in the chase for the Champions League places. Olivier Giroud scored in the first half before Marcos Alonso doubled the lead in the second half.

Spurs were lucky not to have a man sent of when Giovani Lo Celso looked to have stood on Cesar Azpilicueta. Despite Antonio Rudiger's own goal being a late consolation for Spurs it didn't make a difference to the result.

Speaking after the match the former Real Madrid manager blamed injuries for his side's poor showing, saying, "Chelsea's striker was a World Champion and on the bench was the second player for England. In the stands the second striker for Belgium. We have zero strikers on the pitch, in the stands, they are in hospital."
