Harry Kane has put Spurs fans on high alert after suggesting he would be open to leaving the Premier League side, depending on how 'they progress as a team.'
The Spurs striker has scored 136 Premier League goals in just seven seasons since making his league debut for the team and looks well on the way to breaking Alan Shearer's record for goals scored in the league.
He has been linked with a move away from north London in the past and now for the first time he's confirmed that he could leave the club in the future.

For those of you who think he’s not even pondering leaving think again.
Club needs to now show ambition. pic.twitter.com/giBUYxLS3X
Speaking to Jamie Redknapp during an Instagram live interview the England captain said that his future was connected to how the team were doing.
He didn't claim he was looking to leave but said that he would consider it 'depending how the team were progressing,' which comes after a season of difficulty at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs fans certainly weren't positive on the news, with many thinking he'd only last at the club until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Levy better be paying attention... but we all know levy so he defo don’t care

I reckon he’ll give it another season, can’t see it being much longer with Levy/ENIC

Kane having this much time off to reflect isn’t a good thing for us sadly. He’ll give us another year with Jose. Levy has to co operate or that’s it

100% agree, hope levy takes it as an opportunity to strengthen around him rather than cash in.

We have him for one more season tops. If we haven’t won anything in then next 12 months and we haven’t shown any progression then he will be looking to leave and who could blame him. The ball is in Levy’s court now

If there was ever a clear message for levy to put his hand in his moth infested wallet in his sewn up trouser pocket, this is it #COYS

Big period from now until next year's Euros. Spurs must win a trophy and challenge for the title. As a Spurs man I could not blame Kane for going to Liverpool, City, Barca, Real or Juve if not. The guy deserves every accolade. Fantastic player & professional š @HKane

The 26-year-old is still only 13th on the Premier League's all time top scorer list, and has had plenty of issue problems, but he is only 13 goals from the top 10 and his goals to game ratio hints that he will overtake Shearer's 260.
However in the interview the former Leicester City loanee also confirmed that winning titles was more important to him than the record, adding more doubt to his Spurs future, with the club without a trophy since their League Cup win in 2008.
Daniel Levy will need to release the funds to help improve the squad under Jose Mourinho, that he seemed unwilling to under Pochettino, in order to compete at the top as Kane wants.
