A Manchester United fan has caused controversy online by stating his side is better or equal to Liverpool's in all but one position.

United are currently on a ten game unbeaten run and their form has picked up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

RedDevilBible suggests that United could 'challenge for the title next season' and that the current Premier League leaders are only stronger on the right wing, with Mohamed Salah rated better than Daniel James.

It means that United are supposedly better in seven positions, equal in three while weaker than Jurgen Klopp's side on the right wing.

It is worth pointing out that United were the first Premier League side to take points off Liverpool this season, in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford back in October.

But it does seem over the top to claim United are better in almost every position considering the 37 point difference between both sides.

United defeated bitter rivals Manchester City 2-0 on Sunday thanks to goals in either half from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.
