Paul Scholes has named his Dream Team, made up of players he either played with or against throughout his 20-year tenure at Manchester United.
One of the greatest to ever play, Paul Scholes has chosen a Dream Team starting XI of players he's either played with or against over his footballing career.
After making 709 appearances for Manchester United, Scholes won an incredible amount of trophies which included 11 Premier League titles, two Champions League titles, and four FA Cups. His rather moderate 152 goals and 73 assists didn't properly show the genius of Scholes who was seen as arguably England's most technical player ever.

Scholes played against some of the all-time greats of Football throughout his 20 years and it shows in his Dream Team. However, many people could argue he's left quite a few players off, including himself.
Presented as a 433 formation:
Goalkeeper: Peter Schmeichel
Right Back: Gary Neville
Centre Backs: Jaap Stam and Rio Ferdinand
Left Back: Roberto Carlos
Central Midfielders: Zinedine Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta
Right Winger: Cristiano Ronaldo
Left Winger: Ryan Giggs
Striker: Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Quite the incredible team with some of the best players of all time in the team, but you could say Scholes' bias to his former teammates has won him over against some of the greatest players he's faced.
Scholes has been on the opposite side of some of the legends such as: Lionel Messi, Ronaldo, Cafu, Carlos Puyol, Paolo Maldini, and Thierry Henry.
A few other notable absentees include Class of '92 teammate, David Beckham, and former Midfield Partner, Roy Keane.
Scholes himself has been named in many other players' Dream Teams over the years including Andrea Pirlo:

Maybe losing to Barcelona in two Champions League finals and being on the receiving end of a Ronaldo masterclass stopped Scholes putting these players into his Dream Team.
