Valencia offer Napoli veteran Callejon a 3-year deal at Mestalla (GdS)

Valencia have reportedly offered Napoli veteran Jose Callejon a route back to Spain with a three-year deal at the Mestalla.

The 33-year-old looks set to leave the Azzurri after the current season as his contract expires in June and the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira claims the winger would prefer a return to his native Spain.

Callejon has spent almost seven seasons at Napoli since his move from Real Madrid in July 2013, contributing 80 goals and 77 assists in his 336 matches for the Partenopei.

Schira claims Fenerbahce are interested in the former Real Madrid man, who can move on a free transfer this summer, but writes that Callejon wants to play in La Liga.

Callejon has already played 151 games in the Spanish top-flight and Valencia have allegedly offered him a contract for the next three seasons.
