Manchester United have two medicals scheduled at Carrington for later today - one for Edinson Cavani and one for Alex Telles.
It was reported over the weekend that the club had reached an agreement with free agent Cavani, while Sunday has seen them strike a deal for Porto left-back Telles.
Samuel Luckhurst of Manchester Evening News has claimed the South American duo are set to have medicals later today and the double signing could be announced very soon.

The Red Devils' interest in Cavani circulated on Saturday with the club keen to make signings before Monday's transfer deadline.
Within hours, an agreement for a two-year contract had been reached with the player and his agent, who will pocket £10 million from the deal.
Meanwhile, Cavani will earn around £200,000-a-week at Old Trafford making him one of their highest paid players.
The 33-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer after seven years in Ligue 1.
He became the club's top goalscorer during his time in the French capital, scoring 197 goals.
In the case of Telles, he emerged as United's top target after Sergio Reguilon joined Spurs last month.
The 28-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with Porto and is excited about a move to England.
A deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is still said to be on and possible before 11pm on Monday, but terms have not been agreed with the German outfit.
