Liverpool remain in Alaba race

Liverpool are still one of several clubs tracking David Alaba ahead of a potential summer move.

The Bayern Munich defender is not going to sign a new contract but will not be sold in January.

It makes him a free agent come the summer and several Premier League clubs are keen on his services.

Both Manchester clubs are keen but Alaba's preferred destination has always been Spain with Real Madrid heavily linked, reports the Athletic.
