A Twitter thread has shown off Kevin De Bruyne's best moments in a Manchester City shirt - proving he is not a 'false image.'

De Bruyne has become City's most influential player over the last few years and he's rated as one of the world's best.

But some believe the Belgian international isn't as spontaneous as other attacking midfielders who have graced the Premier League.

@mcfcbella has compiled the 29-year-old's best moments in a sky blue shirt and they're definitely worth a watch.










From pinpoint passes to absolute screamers from outside the box, De Bruyne has shown his true quality time and time again.

So far this campaign, the former Chelsea man has scored three times and registered 14 assists in all competitions.

He has competition for being the best midfielder in Manchester however.

Bruno Fernandes is tearing it up with bitter rivals Manchester United and was named December's Player of the Month on Friday.

TalkSPORT pundit Dean Ashton thinks Fernandes has overtaken 'KDB' as the league's best player and explained: "You can see the difference when [Sergio] Aguero doesn't play for Man City.

"He's still class, of course, as he's got seven assists this season and the same as Bruno.

"It's that goal tally I think that Fernandes brings you.

"That goal threat that's the difference between him and Kevin De Bruyne and that's why I'd pick him and why I think he's gone ahead of him as, for me, the best player in the Premier League."
