Bacary Sagna has backed up the thoughts of many football fans, saying that football isn't the same anymore following the European Super League announcement.
Sunday's shocking announcement from the 12 European clubs planning a breakaway from the Champions League has caused shockwaves throughout the football world.
Fans of the Premier League 'Big Six,' and the six teams from La Liga and Serie A, are feeling let down by their clubs for joining the new competition.
There is plenty of debate amongst fans on social media about whether they will continue to support their clubs if the Super League goes ahead.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City full back Sagna, who will see his two ex teams compete in the competition, has joined the discourse to say he will no longer be watching football and saying the sport is no longer the same.
Oooook .. i think i will stop watching football..cause the football i know is not football anymore ðŸ˜

Speaking on Sky Sports, in the midst of the breaking story on Sunday but before the official announcement, former Manchester United star Gary Neville was extremely hard on the clubs that have signed up.
"The reaction to it is that it has been damned and rightly so," the pundit said after United's win against Burnley, "I'm a Manchester United fan and have been for 40 years of my life but I'm disgusted, absolutely disgusted.
"I'm disgusted with Manchester United and Liverpool the most. Liverpool, they pretend - 'You'll Never Walk Alone, the people's club, the fans' club'.
"Manchester United, 100 years, borne out of workers from around here, and they're breaking away into a league without competition that they can't be relegated from?
"It's an absolute disgrace.
🗣 "It's a criminal act against football fans in this country." 🤬@GNev2 is furious with the big six clubs signing up to the 'European Super League' pic.twitter.com/eXZDyzovJg

"Honestly, we have to wrestle back the power in this country from the clubs at the top of this league - and that includes my club.
"I've been calling for 12 months for an independent regulator to bring checks and balances in place to stop this happening.
"It's pure greed. They're imposters.
"There are 100-odd years of history in this country from fans who have loved these clubs and they need protecting.
"I've benefited from football hugely. I've made money out of football and I invest money in a football club."
On Monday, Ander Herrera became the first active player to speak out against the European Super League, with the PSG midfielder saying the competition would 'end the dreams' of football fans.
