Fans have responded to Jack Grealish's performance against Manchester United by saying the Aston Villa player is now a world-class midfield talent.
Man United won the game 2-1 to go level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table but high-flying Villa pushed them very close - and all of their best attacking moments came through Grealish.
The 25-year-old got the assist for Villa's equaliser, fizzing the ball across the box for Bertrand Traore to finish.

But he could have added to that assist if more of his teammates had been on his wavelength, as he continually ran at United's defenders and put dangerous balls into the box.
His highlight package on Twitter provoked praise from football fans - with several Man United fans debating how he might fit into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
"This level of consistency is ridiculous," said one United fan. "I don't care, £70-80m, just give them it and sign him."
"We need Jack. Grealish is not a one season wonder. He is world class," said another.

However another fan gave Grealish the highest of respect, putting him in the same class as Kevin De Bruyne - but wondered if he'd fit into United's system.
"Grealish is in the level of Bruno and KDB at the moment, but I don't think we need him at the moment," he said. "His best positions are already occupied by Rashford and Fernandes."

Manchester United were supposedly interested in bringing Grealish to Old Trafford in the summer, but the deal didn't happen. And his form in the first half of the 2020/21 season means the price tag on the England magician will only have gone up.
Solskjaer is supposedly a huge fan of the player. He was seen giving Grealish a knowing look after his superb display in the Friday night game, settled by a controversial penalty after Douglas Luiz's supposed trip on Paul Pogba.

But it remains to be seen whether United - or any other club - will make a big-money move for Grealish in 2021.
What can clearly be seen is that Grealish is now consistently showing his skills on a weekly basis against the best teams in the Premier League. And pretty much all football fans are loving watching him in action.
